Gift Art- Vanadium-Wolf

Here is my half of a looooong overdue gift art piece for Vanadium-Wolf's character, Vanadium. She was very fun to draw. I haven't drawn wolves in ages, and I think this turned out to be my best wolf drawing to date.

I did use two references in addition to her character sheet- two photographs by Monty Sloan on pages 153 (for the head, neck, and face) and 203 (for the body and legs) featured in the book "Wolves: Capturing the Spirit of These Incredible Animals", 2011, written by Shaun Ellis.

I am not trying to profit off of my use of his photographs as references in any way. But, this book is really good and I do encourage anyone interested in wolves to buy it, since it has a lot of wonderful photographs and information.

Note: Unfortunately, the scanner washed out the grey on her lower half pretty badly. I made her underside a lighter shade to appear more realistic. But, really her underside should not quite be as light as it appears here.
